Bamboo is prevalent in Bali. On my last travels to Bali I had the opportunity to stay in a village that was comprised of only bamboo homes. The necklace is a celebration of bamboo "bambuh" and is adorned with red bamboo coral and a unique sterling silver tag from Cheluk, Bali. The picture features red stones but it is also available in black agate.
