"Alive" is the first song Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder recorded. The song has taken new meaning from its inception to now. Vedder said his audience "lifted the curse." Bloodstone is just that, a blood cleansing stone. For me, it represents releasing the curse that plagued a loved one.

Bloodstone is a healing and protection stone known to bring well-being and help detoxify the body. The stone is composed of green chalcedony and spots of red jasper.
