Introducing the Jada Jo Jewelry Fall Collection

Fall lends itself to introspection and a general feeling of winding down. The bustle of the holidays await, but fall is a gorgeous pause, a place to appreciate what we have — and what we're preparing to leave behind. I appreciate, so much, living in a place where I can continue to spend the fall months in nature, enjoying the changes in temperature and noticing the subtle differences in the air around me. 

Bring the feeling of fall to Jada Jo Jewelry

I wanted to incorporate that feeling into the Jada Jo fall collection. The designs are purposefully simple, and for the most part monochromatic, letting the beauty and variation in individual gemstones add depth and variety to each piece. The collection brings warmth, serenity, and protection to its wearers, from the joy brought by Yellow Jade in the Golden Fall Necklace to the hope signified by the green agate in the Emerald Love Necklace.

The colors of the sun and sky

While the colors of fall foliage permeate the thoughts of many people when they envision fall, not all trees shed their leaves to make way for something new. Always, though, the light shifts, and the colors of the sun and the sky take on a slightly different hue than the shimmering heat of summer. Of course, I wanted to incorporate the traditional warm colors of fall into my collection — gold, amber, and deep greens — but I wanted something else woven into the collection as well.

I premiered the Austin Pietersite Necklace when I was a featured vendor at the Austin City Limits Festival this fall. The gorgeous blue pietersite invokes the feeling of an autumn sky falling from lightness to darkness. Its powerful protective properties help calm your nerves, which we can all use as fall gives way to the hectic holiday season. 

Dedicating the collection

When it came to dedicating the fall collection, one name kept returning to mind. The 2019 fall collection came together beautifully with the input from Gracia, one of our newest designers. The way the Jada Jo team works together on a collection and during the daily operation of the company makes me so grateful for the creative, inspirational people I have in my life. It only makes sense to present this collection in tribute to Gracia. You might even notice one of the pieces carries her name, the Gracia Golden Jade Necklace.

I hope you love the Fall Collection as much as I do. Each collection represents a labor of creativity and love, and bringing it to the Jada Jo Community truly feels like a gift each time we debut something new.
