Summer Sunshine from Jada Jo Jewelry

Not everything can be fixed with sunshine, but some days I feel like the warmth of the sun has a healing effect that I shouldn't ignore. This summer might be tainted by a global pandemic, but searching for light helps bring the goodness to the forefront of our experiences. Looking around my community, I notice people helping each other and looking out for each other, trying to find a source of greater good amidst the chaos. My favorite pieces from the Jada Jo summer collection focus on that light and goodness — sunshine and rainbows, in gemstone form. 

Feel the warmth of Burning Sun

When I traveled to Bali, I worked to find a sense of inner balance and harmony. For some, being in a place so far from home could feel disharmonious, but I found a sense of peace there. I sought experiences to broaden my world view and took the time to reflect on what I was learning, giving me the opportunity to balance spontaneity and wisdom throughout my trip. 

That sense of balance takes center stage in the Burning Sun pieces. Featuring a necklace, bracelet, and earrings, Burning Sun combines yellow agate with sterling silver Balinese beads. The details on the beads speak to the beauty of Bali, while the agate promotes harmony between yin and yang. Agate stimulates the Solar Plexus chakra, which functions as the pivot point of personal energy and identity. Balancing that energy will help you stay positive during a complicated summer.

Fall in love with Rainbow Love

Seeing a rainbow in the sky always feels like a promise for brighter things to come. The Rainbow Love collection uses various colors of tourmaline to activate all your chakras — yes, all of them! — and offer a balanced form of protection for its wearer. Personally, I love wearing tourmaline when I need a fresh perspective, because it's also a cleansing stone.

We designed necklaces, a bracelet, and earrings, including a double strand necklace for added visual interest and color. The beauty of tourmaline lies in its rainbow hues, and the varied colors mean each piece feels unique and special. The earrings are one of my favorite summer pieces, from the joyous colors to the ornate, Indonesian sterling silver balls.
